Triple Paste Diaper Cream users

Ok, so earlier in the week DS had a horrible diaper rash. As per the peditrician, we've used the triple paste & cornstarch and its almost cleared up (hopefully by the end of the weekend). I almost have a happy baby again.

Do you ladies use the combo to prevent future rashes? If so, where do you find the best prices on the triple paste? Thanks

i have never used it with cornstarch just by itself

i love it it always clears up any rash .......

as far as price goes i dont know where the best price is i just get it .....

Kerry in KK they have balmex 1 day and it did just that...cleared it up in 1 day. Its like 6 bucks...maybe you should check it out just in case it is your true miracel...KWIM... it did work for us.

Let me rephrase. I'm not looking for any other remedies. I'm asking girls who use triple paste only.

1. do you use it everyday for a preventive measure

2. where do you find the best prices

We use the Triple Cream when Kaydyn gets a really bad rash. We don't use it all the time b/c it is so expensive. We use Balmex most of the time.

I usually buy it at Target or Walmart...but I don't really pay attention to the price difference b/c if I'm buying it we REALLY need it.

When there is any sign of a rash we use Triple Paste. Otherwise, I tend to shy away from 'zinc oxide' on a daily basis. I use A&D or Aquaphor instead.

If there is a rash, I will use triple paste. I just bought the really big tub of it....it def. works out cheaper than buying many of the smaller ones.

Target has the best price for the really really large jar of it, and then Diapers.com I think is good as well..HTH....We use triple paste for every before bedtime change and every poopie diaper so i know prices.....don't ask me why we use triple paste instead of a normal diaper cream....

I only use triple paste when I see his tushy is getting red (DS had never had a diaper rash)

for general use I use either aquaphor or regular vasaline.

Try Costco but you need to go up to the pharmacy counter and ask, I can't remember the cost for the triple paste but I remember teh aquaphor was like $12 for a larger tub!

ETA: The aquaphor is great to keep around too, I use it on DS's cheeks or chin when they get red from drooling.

I only use triple paste when there is a rash. I use cornstarch on an everyday basis. The best price I've seen is at Target.
