Triple Stroller
I am having our 3rd baby in a month. I have 16 m/o twins now. My MIL offered to buy me a triple stroller, but I have no idea which one to get. She said pick whatever one I want and she'll get it. I mainly want it to go on walks next spring, so it isn't a rush to buy it, but I'd like to have an idea of what is worth buying. So the twins will be just over 2 y/o and the baby will be around 7-8 m/o. Do 2 y/o still like strollers at that age? I am a SAHM and am worried about cabin fever with 3 kids, that's why I want the stroller. What do you have?

Re: Triple Stroller
I think dm24angel looked into the Valco - it's expensive - but very functional.

Re: Triple Stroller
I would go to Buy Buy Baby and test drive them. That was how we decided on our double stroller. DS is 2 and yes he still likes to use the stroller. But there are times he does not. However, I think with three there will just be times you will need to corrale them and a triple stroller will be a necessity even if the children are not thrilled to be in it.

Unfortunatly they dont carry any Triple strollers there ...Thats the problem with trying to find one.
There are very few out there even. If you do a search on here you can see a few of my posts about it.
I have a 2 yr old and twins coming in 2 months.
The Valco trimode twin is a great stroller..amazing reviews and has a toddler seat you can purchase to make it a triple stroller...one of your twins would have to sit there...but it is $$...about $800 PLUS the $100 for the toddler seat. ( or it might be $800 WITH it. Sorry I dont remember).
The baby trend one is ok...Cheap and has bad reviews, but I'm sure it would do ok for walks only.
There is a peg perego one, but it runs over $1000-$1100.
And then there is the Joovey Big Caboose with is a double stroller with a small seat/stand in the back...which might be ok for you. It has so-so reviews, most being that it is HUGE and will only fit in a mini van if travelling with it and is very heavy and awkward, but manuevering seems to be ok. You can get it online for like $300 if you look around.
Those are pretty much the only options available based on my research.
You can try Craigslist but they seem to go FAST and for not much $$ off what they are priced new.
Maybe sticking with a double stroller and putting the baby in a sling/carrier might work? ( I plan to do this with my 3....my son and one of the twins in the double and one baby in a sling/carrier) ....
Hope that helps a little.
If you Google Triple strollers you can get some review sites too. ( and go to YouTube as well and type it in to see live demo's on the ones mentioned. )
Good luck~!

Re: Triple Stroller
The Buy Buy Baby in Totowa, NJ has some. I was there this weekend and saw a couple of tripple strollers. I did not look super closely at what brands they had but they were there. I would call them to see which ones they are.

Re: Triple Stroller
Peg Perego makes one. It's $$$ and you will not find it on display

Wow really?
The ones on LI ( huntington and Carle Place) don't have any and I have searched for all the brands I mentioned to see where I could actually "see" them and there is only one store in Brooklyn that carries any of them, the Valco and they dont have them on display , just in stock.

Re: Triple Stroller
From the post above I am pretty sure it was the Joovy tripple stroller. 2 front seats plus the jump seat. They also had a greco tripple frame for the car seat. I also recall a grey one but I don't remember the brand. I would call them and ask for the stroller department to see which ones they have.

Re: Triple Stroller
buy buy baby in westbury has 1 that I have seen several times - it is front to back with 3 seats. I don't think they have any side by side ones though. Not sure what brand it was but I think it might have been a peg perego.
If you want it just for walks what about the SUMMIT 360 STROLLER/JOGGER HYBRID

The baby jogger is $1000 ...which is a lot for just a walking stoller kwim and I haven't been able to see if it fully reclines and is ok for a newborn ( I "think it does" but not 100 % sure )

I wonder if the triple will take 2 car seats though - b.c they have a double car seat bar I don't know how much it reclines either just putting it out there that it exists - yeah 1000 is a lot - but I guess it depends on how much use you will get and what other options there are out there. I take it there aren't a lot of choices for triples out there unfortunately so they kind of have the market cornered which is not right.
