Tripped and fell with 3 month old
... fell forward and we landed on the couch... She landed on hwr back on a firm leather couch cushion. I fell mostly on the floor so thankfully i didn't land on top of her. She didn't really react at all and seemed ok afterwards. I know it was a couch cushion, but it was still a hard landing and the cushion isn't soft! I'm so upset that this happened. Do you think she's ok? Should I be worried?

I think you can google signs to look for if something is wrong and you don't want to take her to get checked out... I think it's like prolonged crying (more than 10 minutes after the fall), eyes not focusing, eye not dilating or both eyes not dilating the same, sleepiness. I don't think anyone should/can say if she is ok or not...
Maybe google "shaken baby symptoms" if she snapped her head back or maybe"baby fell on head/neck" etc.

Re: Tripped and fell with 3 month old
She didn't cry at all and landed flat, didn't snap her neck back or anything like that. She kept smiling and playing afterwards like nothing had happened. Pupils are dilating fine and she didn't get sleepy for an hour and a half afterwards around bedtime. I'd assume she would have cried if she had gotten hurt. Idk I'm sure she's fine... But I am a bit worried :(

Re: Tripped and fell with 3 month old
That's a terrible feeling I remember I fell backwards into the coffee table while holding DD over my shoulder she hit her eye It's was so scary.
She was hysterical & it bruised right away. I called ped. & he said the same as the OP, they are more resilient then you think.
I would call just for piece of mind. If she wasn't acting different then she should be fine.

If she is acting normally and has not vomited, you are fine.

Thanks! She seems fine today. Woke up for a bottle in the night like regular. Smiley and happy as usual today. Dr. said if something was wrong I would have noticed by now so I'm gonna try to stop feeling so guilty and worrying so much and just let it go.
