Trouble in Cake Boss land and it is AWFUL
Cake Boss Guy Busted on Sex Charges

Man, this is one serious caketastrope.
Cake Boss costar Remy Gonzalez is behind bars in New Jersey following an Aug. 18 arrest on a handful of sex-crime charges.
Gonzalez is facing counts of aggravated sexual assault, criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.
Specific details of his alleged crimes were not immediately disclosed.
He has been unable to post his $300,000 bail and remains locked up at the Morris County jail. His next hearing is set for Sept. 7.
Gonzalez is married to cake chieftan Buddy Valastro Jr.'s sister Lisa and one of the bakery's top decorators.
In a statement, TLC said: "We support Buddy and the Valastro family during this very difficult and challenging time. The network respects the family's wish for as much privacy as possible, and as this doesn't involve us, we will not be commenting any further."

OMG!!!! That is HORRIBLE!
He can't make the 300,000 bail? It must be true because between all of them at that bakery, bail could be made. His wife just had a baby. I feel so sad for that family.

Details Emerge on Cake Boss Arrest; Did Remy Gonzalez Admit to Sexual Assault?
The sordid details of the allegations against Remy Gonzalez are coming to light.
Earlier this week, the Cake Boss star was arrested on charges of sexual assault, a crime sources say the reality star actually admitted to.
This update is courtesy of a police affidavit obtained by The Newark Star-Ledger. It states that a pair of witnesses told detectives they confronted Gonzalez on August 17 after a boy between the age of 13 and 16 claimed to have been sexually assaulted by the 32-year-old cake decorator.
This incident reportedly took place twice, both times occurring between September 2009 and March 9, 2010.
After learning medical personnel were taking a look at the accuser, the affidavit says Gonzalez broke down and admitted to having engaged in acts "of sexual assault" that included penetration. He was arrested the next day.
Gonzalez is currently locked in a Morris County prison, unable to pay his $300,000 bail.
"It's not an exorbitant [amount]," New Jersey-based criminal defense attorney James M. Porfido told E! News. "It's probably within the guidelines... For first-degree charges that carry mandatory incarceration up to 20 years, that's someone who could be considered a flight risk. That may justify a higher bail."
Gonzalez is next expected in court for a September 7 hearing.

This is really awful. I will never understand how a grown adult can do this to a child! He has a family at home how can he do this to them?

now i know many bakers who are just <NUTS> but this is beyond the normal baker crazy. This man is sick (if proven guilty) and I feel for his family.

This is crazy... i feel so bad for the cake boss family. Buddy seemed to really like hime and they do all seem like a very loveing family.... I am sure if he was innocent they would have he $300,000 to bail him out.... something tells me he is out of the cake boss family!!!!
I wonder if they will address it in the show?

I'd assume not - he'll probably just 'disappear'.
I wonder what Duff thinks about this. I was laughing when on one of the recent shows they took a jab at the Cake Boss. They must have a rivalry going.

I can not imagine what his family is going thru right now! I'm sure they are thinking "holy sh!t, we thought we knew him"
If this is true, and he definitely confessed, then he is a despicable human being.
