Truck rental- company recs?
Need to get a 5 room apartment full of stuff AND a storage unit of stuff from Smithtown to Hauppauge on 10/31. Probably 3 trips back and forth between them all.

No specific rec... just a suggestion that you find the one with the least amount of $$$ per mile or no mile limit.

we always use penske- they charge a little more upfront but their per mile charge is a lot less

I have used uhaul and penske. Both worked out fine. Do yourself a favor and rent a bigger truck so you do not have to make multiple trips. I learned this the hard way. It ends up being cheaper because of the per mile charge not to mention the time you waste driving back and forth.

I've used Uhaul. Just make sure they are open when you want to pick up and return.
I'm in Hauppauge too - welcome to the neighborhood.
