True Blood ***Spoilers****

Was that Bill's maker at the end? It looked like her. Why is she there? I think the Dallas Vamp guy definitely has something to do with all of this. What do you all think?

Also what is the deal with Daphne? Besides being a shifter why does she have the scars on her back? It's driving me crazy. Did Marianne send her to go after Sam?

it looks like they're combining some stuff from the next book if that is bill's maker. i dont want to ruin anything for you. (i've read all the books).

everything depends on how far they are going to stray from the books or what liberties they are going to take w/ how they stay "true" to the series.

daphne didn't have much of a role in the books. so my guess is marianne has something to do w/ her b/c of the scars on her back which were like the ones she gave sookie.

Thank You. I knew she looked familiar. It took me a few seconds and then i screamed in DH's face. It's his maker...

Plus now that i think about it, it makes sense because they showed him "getting made" in the beginning as the recap

I'm pretty sure that was bill's maker. It looks like the same actress and they emphasized her strong southern accent in the coming attractions which bill's maker would have

yea, that was Bill's maker.. i was .. when she was holding him down for the preview for next week..
i somehow think that Jessica will play a role in saving him..
and Bill's maker is more powerful than him.. so another vamp would have to same him , no? looks good though!!

Here's what I'm wondering... Daphne is a shape shifter like Sam and they both have a connection to Maryanne... Is it possible that Maryanne somehow "made" them shape shifters? Sam doesn't have the clawmarks on his back though, and in his flashbacks on how he met her, he was already shifting.

in the book, Sam is a true shifter, he can shift into any animal....most shifters though can only shift into one animal...ex) a werewolf, werepanther, weretiger, werefox...but only the were wolves refer to themselves as were's

i too have been reading the books...reading #9 now and theyre definitely coloring my thoughts on the TV show. i just feel like the show is so stupid...i hate maryann and that whole plot..it feels redundant so show week after week her vibrating and people having sex and all that. also, why is she after tara? and why did they add the jessica character? im not saying its a bad show...i bet if i hadnt read the books i would love it.

I think that they may have added Jessica into the show, because it could be difficult to cast Bubba.

I would prefer if Tara on the show was more like Tara in the book...a minor character.

Jason is a tool, no matter what...but the whole fellowship of the sun story line is crazy and boring.

I actually kind of like the twist that Godric is Eric's Maker.

I can't wait until we are done with Maryann....enough is enough already.

LOVELY...

And give me a frekking break with the bathtub scene.....

I find the Barry storyline interesting and think it will be interesting with Bill's maker being there for some reason.

I"m so done with the leadership of the son garbage.. it's so boring and corny. I wonder if Bill's maker is going to try and stop him from being with Sookie...b/c she will be jealous of their relationship.
