Yeah, Donald Jr. was furiously tweeting about this last week trying to defend himself by saying that the game was given to local villagers for food, but I didn't realize endangered leopard made for good eating 
I personally find trophy photos gross, no matter who takes them and what game was killed (I unfriended someone on facebook b/c she posted a photo of herself grinning over a deer that she had killed). I understand that people hunt, and have hunted since the dawn of time- there's just something so vain and disrespectful about posting photos of yourself gloating over an animal that you killed over which you had an obvious advantage. JMO.
ETA- Ugh, I just saw the leopard photo that you posted. What douchebags.

I don't understand hunting in general, killing for sport is disgusting to me, but this is horrific.
I hope they did something illegal and get caught. And giving meat to the villagers, yeah right, did they drag the elephant over?
I think if they wanted to help villagers so badly they could think of other ways.

Disgusting on so many levels.
I won't go on a tirade about how much I disagree with hunting especially when people who do it call it a sport.
It becomes a sport when the animal you are pointing a gun at has a gun pointed at YOU...may the best man win!

I'm not a hunter but the only issue I have with this is the endangered species.
The US culls animals on a regular basis. Trapping, killing, allowing them to be hunted, etc.
If they can use the meat for the community, great. If not, I still don't see a problem with it.

They have enough money that they could have went into their pockets and BOUGHT food for these people instead of murdering these gorgeous creatures. How much meat could ONE beautiful leopard produce? So incredibly disgusting.
