trying for a boy/girl
Is anyone trying for a specific gender? If so, which methods are you using to sway? Has anyone had success in the past? If you weren't intentionally trying for 1 of each and you ended up with both, did you do anything different each time?
Disclaimer: I know not everyone believes in doing this, this post is seeking the thoughts and advice of those who do!

Thanks for answering! Did you do o+12 specifically or it just happened to be after o? were you intentionally trying for a girl?

DD was our first and we started from the day I got a + on a opk and for 4 days after.
DS was a random day, hadnt been trying, no opk and I said, "this might have been a baby making day." I was pretty sure I was ovulating.
I know they say girl sperm lasts longer, I wonder if timing made a difference.
Dont know but love my and

Re: trying for a boy/girl
i read that if you BD when you O then you are more likely to conceive a boy since the sperm swims faster, versus if you BDd a few days before you O.. by the time you O, the boy sperm would have died off but the girl sperm lives longer so it will be there to catch the egg. but who knows!

Im not trying for any specific gender, but I would love one of each! That being said, I have a DS and when we were trying for him we 10 days total. Before, during, and after i O'd. I think im going to do the same thing this time. Anything that works-I'll take!

heard pretty much the same thing...new egg: boy; old egg: girl...My first was a boy and I definitely conceived when my egg was new
