Re: Trying to help my brother - need some job ideas
Not sure where your brother lives, but I used to work at St. Catherines in Smithtown. I worked there for four years, in three different departments. It is a good job! It pays at least $15-16 an hour,I left there a year and a half ago making $16.50 and hour. It also has really good benefits for even part timers. Tell him to go apply for Dietary or a runner. If you are not sure a runner brings patients from their rooms to any test they may have to take during the day and evening. Tell him to also try Stony Brook for the same postions. I think they may pay less though.
As for paying his debt, I would stay out of it. Let him pay it, interest and all. Just a warning, you may never see your money again, just from personal experiences. Good Luck!!
