TTC and Disney
DH and I are planning a trip to Disney in a few months...he has ben DYINg to go, howver now that we are about to start TTC, i am worried that if i am preggo when we go, our trip wont be as much fun. There are A LOT of rides i wouldnt be able to go on (that is what i hear)...he, however, isnt into rollercoasters anyway, so that would be his ticket out, lol...If we dont go soon though....we will prob have kids next time we consider going, and we really wanted to go once on our own before we have kids. Would you still book the trip knowing you might be preggo? I would probably be anywhere from 1 to 4 months preggo.....OR not preggo at all, depending on how things go.
Also...lets say i was only one or 2 months along...would the risk of going on certain rides be just as high?
DH and I just came to this realization the other day, however there is no way i would put off TTC JUST so we can go to Disney...so that is not an option for us.

Re: TTC and Disney
I would book the trip and look into insurance in case I wanted to cancel it.
I'm sure you could look into the disney website to see how many things would be off limits if you were pregnant. I'm sure you could still have a great time there. I would stay away from any of the rides that say they aren't for pregnant women wether I was 2 months or further along.
If I didn't book and it took this long to get pg, I would regret not going.
I think we all know in our heads that we should not put off our lives while ttc but our hearts sometimes only see that we will be pg someday.

My advice is Book the trip, and plan to go. You cant stop you life, just because your TTC. You dont know how long it can take you, it can take you 1 month or over a year. Enjoy your life.

Re: TTC and Disney
I'd book the trip, get insurance, and worry about the details later.

ITA-my OB said to me that you cannot live life in fear. It is best to keep living and enjoying yourself, taking precautions, like insurance, and book it!

Re: TTC and Disney
I went the beginning of december when i was 5 weeks pregnant and the only rides I didnt go on were the roller coasters. The maps tell you which are not for pregnant women and I didnt want to chance it so I just skipped those. I still had a great time.
