Tub Question

Wen did you go from infant/baby tub to using a safe seat in the regular tub?


eta; what did you go to after? what products do you like? didn't like?

i used the infant tub until about 9.5 months and then i moved to one of those inflatable tubs you put in the bathtub.

We are at 8 months and I am researching new tubs now.

I had a thread the other night asking for recommendations - let me see if I can find it.

I'm still using the Eurobath tub with my 22 month old. I'm happy with that.

I used one of those $7 bath slings until she was 11 months.

I only used the infant tub for a month or two, then put the sling in the regular bath tub. She layed back in it until she could sit up. When she started sitting I would lay her back to wash her hair then sit her up.
At 11 months she refused to lay back anymore.
Now she just sits in the tub without anything.

ETA I sit in there with her so I don;t feel like she needs a special seat.

I never used an infant tub. I used the
Safer Bather Untill she could sit up on her own (5 months old). Now I use Tubside Bath Seat Which I love. Kaitee loves playing in the tub and its the only way I feel like she won't slip and hurt herself.!
