Tuition Reimbursement
Does your company have a tuition reimbursement program? I just found out my company gives up to $3K per year for qualified classes but there are some stipulations and exceptions.
I guess that means if I work in the sales department and I want to go back to school to become a guidance counselor they won't pay.. Figures...

Re: Tuition Reimbursement
Mine doesn't, Fh's does. But it has to be business related, which works out fine for him.

Re: Tuition Reimbursement
Mine does, my job in Florida did as well. I just submit the bill to payroll and it was in my next check.

Re: Tuition Reimbursement
Ours has to be business related as well and we get 80% reimbursement if you get an A, 70% if you get a B, etc.
Too bad the point of going back to school (for me at least) would be to get the he ll out of this industry!

for public schools it is 100%, private is 80% I should be doing it now, but just not enough hours in my day. DH goes to school FT, and he gets nothing, figures.

Re: Tuition Reimbursement
I am very fortunate that my company pays 100% of tuition reimbursement for business related classes. As long as I get a B or better. I will graduate in December 06 with my MBA

Re: Tuition Reimbursement
No, my old job used to pay you up to $1000 a year, but they taxed you on it, so you only got about $700.

At my last company, they paid 100% for undergrad and 80% for graduate no matter where you went to school.

Re: Tuition Reimbursement
My best friend just got a job working at NYU.
He can go to school for free and take anything he wants. So can his wife (and any future children I would imagine as well).

Re: Tuition Reimbursement
mine pays 100% for you if you're in/going into the nursing program.
and $5K per year if your going to grad school (it has to be related to soem sector of the industry though)..
not sure if they pay for undergrad... most positions require that you already have a Bachelor's.

Re: Tuition Reimbursement
try to make a connection (any connection) to what you want to study and your current job.
I'd argue that these's counselor classes focus on psychology and that by studying psychology, you can better understand prospective clients and make more sales!
