Tulle Skirt (Update)
Ladies, please help me out. I'm looking for a full tulle skirt for a party I have coming up. Reminds me of Carrie from Sex in the City. Any idea where I can get something like this. Image Attachment(s):

Thanks. I wanted to order from the second link but they don't have it in ivory in my size. I know Anthropologie usually carries things like this but I went yesterday and nothing. Hoping they bring it out as part as the Spring collection.

I actually like this one better.
The thing is, I don't see how much use you can get out of a tulle skirt.
For a party, yes. But it's not like you can really wear this to work.
So I wouldn't want to spend close to $200 on something I couldn't wear much, kwim?

I totally agree with you. This is one piece that stands out a lot so people will remember it. I can probably wear it again to go out to a nice dinner with my husband but I don't see any more use to it.

That's the same one DrMeg posted in her first link, but shorter (and less $) I think I like the shorter better--on me, 30" would be long, and I thin I'd feel like I was wearing a ballet costume (I wore a lot of ankle length tulle in my teen years!  )
Is there a theme to this party, or do you just feel like wearing tulle?

I ordered the 22", was hoping for the 24" but that would take 4-8 weeks to ship. No theme to the party. I just think it's fun and I love trying different things. I just hope I can pull it off..I'll keep you all posted.

So I ordered from Space 46 got a 22" blush skirt. It's beautiful and so well made. My husband loved it and actually wants me to wear it for a night out with just him.
But I got to say, it takes a lot of self confidence and courage to wear something like this. Just trying it at home I felt shy and silly. So lets see if I get enough courage to wear it to the party. I wanted to dress my girls with a tulle skirt as well but my mom thinks it's a bit much. I thought it would be cute. Am I wrong?

I know what you mean about having the confidence to rock it. But I find so often that I see someone wearing something daring and I just admire it. I rarely think "Oh, they look silly. That's over the top!" I just think "Damn, that looks awesome, I'd never think to wear that!" So go for it. The one's who would judge will judge no matter what you're wearing.
As far as the girls in tulle skirts, too? I think that might be a bit much. But I think it also depends what kind of event this is for...

I kinda agree with your mom.
I would want to be pretty/sexy not cute. And I think all of you in it makes it's too cutesy. If that makes sense.
Would you be comfortable posting a picture of you in it? Would love to see how it looks on.

Can't seem to resize it.
Of course I won't be wearing this top, it was the top I had on under my sweater but you can get an idea. Also the skirt was a bit too tight on my waist so I exchanged it for a big size so it now falls a bit better. I didn't take a picture for the bigger size.

What do you plan on wearing on the top? That will help with the shoes.

I think the shoes looks good!
And from what I see on Pinterest it seems any type of shoe works depending what you wear on top.
