OK so i have to be honest i was having a hard time getting through this book...i now have a lil more than 100 pages to go and am now a lil more intrigued. i am a lil disappointed cause i thought i would be addicted!!

For those of you who love the series, does it get more addicting with the other books or should i already be addicted? or should i wait until the end of the book to see if i should continue with the series?

Update: The last 100 pages were the best!! I finally picked it back and and finished it in a heartbeat. Now I cannot wait for the next book...I'm going to pick it up this weekend!!! :)

Re: Twilght

I felt the same way. I"m about 1/2 way through it, and while I'm enjoying it, I can't say I'm in love with it like some other posters are.

Is this a kids book? I know a lot of my middle school students really like this series. I'm interested in reading it if it's any good!

I just finished Twilight the other day. I wasn't immediately drawn in but it's such an easy read that I got through it quickly. I got into it about half way through and really enjoyed the rest.

I read the whole series. I thought it was ok. I wasn't enthralled with it like a lot of people are.

Re: Twilght

It took me a while to get into the 1st one. I was hopiing there would be more action. I actually can't wait for the movie.
I liked the 2nd one better. When the last 2 come out in paperback I will get them.

Re: Twilght

I read Twilight in a few days, and kept wanting to read more and more...but towards the last 1/4 of the book I was disappointed, and not thrilled with the ending.
Maybe if I read new moon, and eclipse, I'll feel a bit more satisfied with the story.

I absolutely LOVED the first three books, but thought Book 4, Breaking Dawn was a bit far fetched...even for me!

Re: Twilght

I was absolutely hooked at the first book and totally in love with Edward! Chat Icon But I have a vampire fetish from the beginning of Anne Rice's collections, so it is no surprise to me that I am hooked.

I have read the first 2 books in 3 days.

Now I have to run out and get the others.

Re: Twilght

I loved the first book, but was highly disappointed in the remaining three, especially the last one Breaking Dawn. I ended up skipping about 80 pgs just to get to the ending.

I loved the love story in the first, but it kinda got a little old after awhile in the remaining three. I did read the excerpt from "Midnight Sun" on the authors website, which is Edwards point of view from Twighlight. I really wished she had finished that one.

I still cant wait to see the movie tho. I love the coming attractions.

Re: Twilght

I just finished this book today and I admit I wasn't thrilled until the last 100 pages. I wondered what everyone was raving about. But I really got into it towards the last 100 pages and now I want to read the next one.

Re: Twilght

I just finished Twilight about 10 minutes ago, I had to see what all the hype was about. I enjoyed it alot, got more intrigued and hooked as I got to the end and now I cannot wait for the movie, and the next book. I think I waas more obsessed with Anne Rice's books, but it's still early for me!
