Twin vs Single Pack n Play?
Which did you prefer?
The twin one is so ugly.....but if it's much better, I'll get it!

Re: Twin vs Single Pack n Play?
I had two single ones. The twin was $$$ and so many BTDT twin mommies said they barely used it.
They only napped in the p n p for the first few weeks home from the hospital. Maybe the first three, then their combined weight was too much for the top portion.
After that, the one p n p became storage for toys, exercise mat, etc. When I received a second one (hand me down) they both went to my MIL's so the kids could nap there when we visited.
My kids never "played" in the p n p. We just baby proofed the den and gated it off so it was one big pack and play.
Just something to consider because you can only use a twin pnp for a short amount of time.

The reg pnp was good enough for my boys. I used the bassinet part for a long time way over the weight limit they recommended.

Re: Twin vs Single Pack n Play?
I have a differing opinion it seems.
I have the twin one and OMG, it is INVALUABLE to me. They have used it everyday...I have it set up in the living room for naps ( they actually sleep in it overniht right now)...they basically live in that thing!
eta- the weight limit for the twin one is much higher to allow for two children.

Re: Twin vs Single Pack n Play?
I had 1 reg pack n play and I primarily used it as a changing station in my family room.

ITA. My boys have been sleeping in it for 7 weeks and will continue to do so until I move them to their cribs.

I agree also. I set it up in my living room and used it for naps. Couldn't of survived without it!

Re: Twin vs Single Pack n Play?
I think you are better off with two seperate ones. I have the twin one and used the bassinets maybe two times when we traveled. I took it out when they started to roll and I needed somewhere to put them, so that I could go into another room, bathroom, etc. It got too confining for them and I also couldn't have them sleep in the bottom part together once they started moving around.
ETA: I just read some other posts and can see it being really useful if you use it the first few months. I always had my babies sleep in their cribs, a swing, or bouncy chair in the very beginning.

Re: Twin vs Single Pack n Play?
I know what a pack n play is but can I ask what the purpose is? If you had a crib, why not put the babies in there? What advantage does the pack n play have? I wasn't thinking of getting one, but now I'm not sure.

I think a lot of people use them if they have two levels in their home. Most people leave them in a den area, so it's somewhere to change the baby, put the baby to sleep, or evey put them there if you have to do something away from ur child. It's easier than going up and down stairs all day long. I live in a condo, so I really didn't use mine.
ETA: I think they are good for traveling too!

Re: Twin vs Single Pack n Play?
I just used the regular one. DS hated sleeping in it anyway, so the twin one would have been a waste.
