"Twinges" (I guess for the BTDT moms)
OK - so for the past few days I have been getting what I refer to as twinges - like - twinges of cramps, twinges of contractions - nothing that lasts for too long or comes back long enough to time...
Anyone else experience these prior to officially going into labor?
Can these twinges last for weeks? Or am I looking at days?
Its weird - because it feels so unnatural after being pregnant for 9 mts - in your 1st and 2nd trimesters, you don't ever want to feel pains like this, so it gets a little alarming feeling them now, even though I am due so soon, it still gets scary....
I should add - my last visit - no dilation, no effacement, still had my mucus plug - I'm assuming I havent lost it yet - I would probably notice....

You are going to drive yourself nuts analyzing every twinge. I know toward the end it feels like you will be pregnant forever and the anticipation of the baby coming is SO strong. Just relax. This baby will surely let you know when it is coming.
Enjoy the last few days of quiet.

Having already been through this I can say I could never wait for the next stage. When my son was an infant I couldn't wait for him to be sitting up, and then to be standing and walking. I felt like I rushed all the satges. Enjoy them as they come because you will look back and say I should have enjoyed them more or held on to that stage a little longer.

I refuse to wish any stage away once the baby is born - I know I went watching my sister grow up too quick (I was 11 when she was born) and enjoyed every stage immensely!
