its sort of an uhhh, well, mmmmmmmm...yeah. Its like a service where you can send like well, facebook status upddates to people...from your mobile phone, or on facebook.

I'm already addicted to Facebook, I refuse to even LOOK at twitter. I hear that it is really good though.

i am on twitter but i really do not use it as a social feature more for news updates/blogs (or this is how i use it)
Twitter is a service that is made to be blurby where you give short sentences about a subject and typically a link/pic to see the full story. It was originally attended to be synced up with bloggers so you see when someone you like to read updated their blog. Also for people who have fame since there is no massive social profile people who are famous can just say: "i am appearing at said area please see <link> for more details."
Its really nice and very much expanding and the reason facebook changed their page since their new biggest competitor is twitter (which makes no sense since it has nothing to do with it in my mind.)
I am also redoing my linkedin account (networking) - i deleted my myspace account but if people start to leave facebook as they are threatening now i may restore it since that is more of a social networking thing for me.
