Two cats and a new puppy
We recently adopted a husky puppy (so freaking cute) and she is doing really well in the house and has adjusted well to us but our two cats have not adjusted well to the dog!?!?! I do have to say the cats are now starting to come out but they are the WORST when the dog walks by or is even in the same room - they swat, they growl, they fluff up their tail.
Does anyone have any advice? I'm not looking for them to be best of friends, just to coexist peacefully.

Re: Two cats and a new puppy
It just takes time!
I was very diligent that my pups not chase my girls - made sure they had a 'safe' place to go (gated my bedroom so the cats could go in but the pups couldn't).
I'd say it took probably about a year or so for my cats to 'ok' with the dogs ... (and forgive me!) and it was much better as pups started to calm down.
These days - I often find one or both of the cats sleeping next to the dogs.

Two cats and a new puppy
We had the same situation. Two cats and a new GSD puppy. First they were hiding behind our bed for two weeks, but now they are fine (I think so) but whenever puppy come close to them they will hit her. And sometimes our Siberian cat even plays with the puppy and sleep in her bed.
