Two different wood floors in same house
Hello, I currently have hardwood floors in my dining room, which borders my kitchen. The kitchen floor is slightly higher than the living room and is tiled. I am tired of the tile and would like to put wide plank wood floor in the kitchen. Will it look silly next to the thin traditional floor in the LR? Any advice or similar pics would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Two different wood floors in same house
We have original wood floors in the house, and ripped out tile in the kitchen and hallway. The original wood was 2" plank I think... and we put 3 1/4" in the kitchen and sunroom. Our floor guy suggested it to delineate the space. Everything has the same stain-- and I like the look of the wider floors anyway-- it doesn't look weird next to the other rooms.
