Two Gosselin Kids Expelled from School During 'Challenging' Time
Two of Jon and Kate Gosselin's eight children have been expelled from a private school in Pennsylvania.
Collin and Alexis Gosselin, both 6, are now being homeschooled, a source close to the situation tells PEOPLE. Despite reports of violence and bullying, the children are not behaving as badly as has been claimed, the source says.
"The situation is being grossly overstated," the source says. "The kids are going through a challenging time, but Kate doesn't feel this is something that should be discussed publicly. It is a private matter."
With the divorce, Kate has said the children have had difficult moments – but adds that in general, the eight (twins Cara and Mady and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Leah, Aaden, Collin and Joel) have weathered the storm. "They're just amazing, resilient, loving kids," she told PEOPLE recently.

Private schools have more leeway with discipline and kicking kids out- but I wonder what they did to be expelled. That's pretty serious. Also, from a practical point of view, it's going to be hard to have 2 kids home and 6 kids at school-I remember my mom going a little nuts with one in grade school, one in middle school and one in high school, with the different start times, etc.
But I can't see Kate being the one to homeschool, not for any length of time.

I was thinking the same thing, but is probably easier then sending the 2 to a different school.
The easiest solution would be to homeschool them all but I'm sure that would make Kate go nuts!

I used to watch this show all the time and before I clicked on the article i knew it would be Collin and Alexis!! Those two have been beating on the other kids for ever.

I'm not surprised that it was a private school. I know from Catholic school, their version of what is acceptable is very different than private.

I would bet money they're being homeschooled by a tutor, not by Kate herself.
