Two things Cailen is doing - was wondering if other's 18 mt olds do this?
Cailen is obsessed with baseball on TV - he is glued watching it! Anyone else's?
Also
Cailen can find our car in a huge parking lot of cars
Can anyone else's DC do this? Just curious...

DD loves watching baseball. She has for a few months. She yells "homerun", "strikeout" and "Go Mets!" (it's hilarious!)
She can also pick out the Mets logo on stuff in stores!

wow - impressive!! dd is 18 months and is not doing these specific things. although she does recognize specific places when we pass them and call out their names. she is not a big TV watcher, but does recognize spongebob and elmo and call them by name

He recognizes it from the back - but I also have an autism magnet - but actually, he does recognize it from the front as well.... He will go right to it when we leave daycare....

what do you mean an autism magnet? that kids with autism can do those kinds of things? I assume that's why you mean you're tuned into it....every time Maddie bangs her head on the floor in frustration my autism bell goes on to. But, the difference is that you work in the field so you must be VERY aware of everything....

That's so funny that he loves baseball, so doe my son! He's watching a game now and keeps yelling out Grand Slam!
And the car! Yes, I remember when my DS was not even two and he could tell you the type of car that it was by looking for the emblem on it. He definitely learned that from DH because of his line of work.

Lance isn't into baseball, but I don't really know because I never have it on. But, he does know our car for a while now. He also for some strange reason knows which key to use, and how to turn the car on.

My DS is 18 months and loves baseball (well so far he loves all sports) but he loves to watch baseball! He yells GOOOOO at the TV and when he watches football he says touchdown. It amazes me that he knows the difference!
Also, he recognized ANYTHING with a Mets symbol, mets colors etc. and always says Go-Go. He can't say Go mets so he says Go-Go whenever he sees anything mets. He recognizes out car but I think its that he recognized the Mets thing on the back.
They are so smart at this age!!

Ryan is too, except that is the only TV he is allowed to watch so he thinks TV is called "Mets!"
Every car make and Model like ours is mama or dada's car.
He's almost 21 months...a little behind your DC

DS has already been watching golf for quite some time. Scott would say that he perks up when they show Tiger Woods. It was really the red shirt that Tiger wears but it was true!!!
I'm not sure about the car thing yet but the other day he got all excited when he realized that we had just pulled up at home.

nah...mine really dont watch tv...
the love the Ipod and music.
my ds used to know if I was going the right way or wrong way to my moms at that age=-=--he would point..
my van is too common..I cant even find it unless I have something significant standing out.
maybe he recognizes the sticker
