my husband works there and he said they've been there for hours and probably will be there for awhile longer. he says he can't imagine how theyre going to get down. helicopter maybe?

They were saying they were going to cut through a window but now it looks like they're lowering down another basket. No matter what, very scary.

nevermind.. apparently the guys i see are NOT the ones who are stuck, just another set of guys on the other side of the building! aaahhh

My question is, why did it take 2 hours to break a window? Also cant they come up with a better method for washing windows on skyscrapers?

They were saying that building is constructed in way that is it nearly impossible to take it down with a plane, gunfire, etc.

Oddly I just happened to be walking right past One World Trade at lunch today & had no idea anything was going on... I looked straight up & saw them though-- I didn't think much of it because I didn't know anyone was stuck! The whole thing was very strange because I've never walked over there in all the years at my job, but just ended up walking there today, and I saw tons of fire trucks & police trucks & people taking pics (but just figured they were tourists taking pics of the building)... and I remember thinking, wow did something happen or is it like this over here every day??! Then I got back to my office & someone told me about it. I'm just so glad it all worked out & they are fine. How scary!!
