Uber---car service
Anyone use this service for a ride to/from the airport? We need to get to JFK really early next week (like 5:30am) and are wondering if this is a good way to go. Thanks!

I've never used them I would just be sure you get the rate before getting in
Im not sure exactly how it works but A friend used them to go a few blocks in manhattan during rush hour and was charged $45!

I've used them in Chicago and DC and the rates tend to be a little higher than a cab. I think they are great in a pinch when you can't hail a cab. Like the other poster said I would call and find out if they have a fixed rate to airports.

They are an elite car service. You are better off hiring another car service who won't charge as much.
