Uber Driver
Is anyone an uber driver or knows someone who is? I have a friend looking to quit their miserable job and being an uber driver
shes not looking to make a ton of $ just a few hundred a week...any feedback would be great

But I know myself, as a woman, I am not sure I'd feel safe doing it.

My DH's husband drives for Uber - he likes it. From what he said (no first hand knowledge) as a woman driver or a woman passenger, you can request only women drivers or to only have women passengers. There are FB boards about it - worth looking into it

My friend's husband drives for Uber and Lyft.
He has a TLC license and TLC plates on his car.

My colleague at work does it at night and on weekends for some extra money, but he still has his FT job.

My cousin lost his business and now drives for both Uber & Lyft full time until he finds something else. He lives upstate and likes that he can still work when he's down here visiting family. I use Uber sometimes and quite a few of the drivers have told me that they drive for both companies...it allows them to pickup more work.
