uggghh this kid is trying my patience today
Starting this morning. He always gets up between 8:45 and 9, today 6:30, ok fine we'll have an early day.
He's dressed and ready to go I still need to take a shower. He comes into the bathroom and we are talking as I am showering , he leaves comes back in with a wad of paper towels, I only notice its paper towels as he throws it in and flushes it, I jump out of the shower, slip and fall, just as the toilet overflows. Great, throw on robe and clean up mess. Get back into an ice cold shower.
Go to the mall, awww he's sleeping, awesome! Get my shopping done for our trip next week, wakes up as I'm looking for my car in the lot. I load the bags and take him out, he grabs my keys and starts screaming, he wants to sit in MY seat so now I'm fighting with a 27lb 2 year old and I'm having difficulty. And then like a sucker punch he wails me in the nose with the keys and his fist. Hello bloody nose. I slap his hand and tell him say goodbye to the sun because you are'nt going out today buddy.
Come home, same scene wants to sit and play in the car. I have an entire basement filled with $$ toys and he wants my freakin car!.
Give him a snack, next thing I know I hear crunch crunch crunch, John is tap dancing his goldfish into my carpet.
DH isnt going to be home until way after 11 tonight. Tomorrow this child is all his. I'm going for my airbrush tan, my pedi and fill in and I may just go out for a drink with my girls

I'm sorry but this line made me chuckle cause its so something I would say!
I've had those days! He is definitely asserting himself, stay strong!
And start pampering yourself starting at bedtime tonight!

sounds like Talia - who skipped her nap today and also loves the car over her toys.
She had a full blown temper tantrum because she wanted to walk the dog all by herself...umm helloo...I dont think so!
Lucky me all my neighbors were out and they are probably talking about me right now :)
Momma said there'd be days like this!
