Ugh. My dad is taking my mom to the ER for the 2nd time in 6 weeks....
About 6 weeks ago, my mom took a horrible spill down an entire flight (about 13 steps) of wood stairs. She broke her shoulder and was very badly bruised. The ambulance was called- and they took her to the hospital. (My dad actually thought that she was gone forever because she didn't move for a few seconds  )
She JUST got out of the sling and started physical therapy last week!
So tonight, we were all at my dad's job for a party, and she went to step outside, and missed the step in front of the stairs and took another spill!
She hurt her wrist- and thinks its broken! My dad is at the ER with her now! My dad isn't the most patient person with doctors and the like- so I'm worried that he's going to get upset and they are going to suspect him of hurting my mom.
I really hope its nothing! I feel HORRIBLE for her!

Oh your poor Mom!!!!!! Hope she feels better soon!!! (Don't worry about them sweating your Dad btw, er personnel are well trained at spotting domestic abuse injuries vs. true accidents; her xrays will confirm that she suffered a fall just as she describes)

as for the hospital, they will know by the type and area of the brake if she was hurt on purpose so i am sure your dad will be fine.
