Ugh, why does CIO only work sometimes??-sorry Long

DD will be 6 months old tomorrow and we have been doing CIO for naps the past few weeks...it has been working pretty well. Only cries for a few minutes and then she's out.

For about 2 months she has been sleeping thru the night (last feeding at 7:30, sleeps until around 5:30 or 6)...

The past few nights she has been waking in the middle of the night and screaming... I end up nursing her and she falls asleep. She is also waking up super early in the AM (around 5ish) and will only go back to sleep in my bed and then my older DD gets up around 6 anyway so we're all up and I'm a zombie!

I nurse her before bed and I usually put her in her crib sleeping although sometimes she is awake so I know she can put herself to sleep...CIO has worked in the middle of the night before also... could it be teething?

I would also like to teach her not to get up before 6 AM but not sure if I should let her CIO at 5AM if her last feeding was at 7:30 KWIM?

Ugh, I am so freaking exhausted

That was my DD also. Her wake time is 5:30 every morning. Sometimes I can nurse her and put her back and she will sleep until about 7-7:30. Other times I also just bring her to and let her play while I have my arm around her that way I can at least keep my eyes closed.
It might be teething. If I see that she is somewhat cranky durning the day then I chalk it up to teething. My dd was sleeping through the night for a few weeks and then started with the night wakings again and I had, had enough of it so I let her CIO and after 1 night she has been sleeping through for 2 weeks now.

Does she have any teeth yet?

Nope, no teeth yet...
I think tonight I will do CIO if she wakes and not go in no matter what!
I just get so tired and I give in and feed her b/c I need to sleep but I guess a few nights of this will be worth it in the long run...

It just hasn't been working the past few nights
