I wouldn't be angry if he had a good reason why he can't respond. My DH is in meetings all the time and actually CAN'T respond, even though he's got his blackberry there, b/c there's too much going on... He may be in a similar boat?

yup- i always txt DH when he won't p/u his phone--- if he doesn't respond to that then I tend to get annoyed.

dont panic yet..i know how you feel...does your dh usually answer his phone or txt? because my dh never does..i wonder why he has a phone...its probably nothing..maybe his phone died...keep trying..maybe he is almost home by now..good luck

No, he's still on campus. I'm waiting for him so we can go home. We usually walk home together. This is why I've been waiting an hour. I figure he'll call back soon but he just hasn't. I mean he KNOWS I've been waiting because I talked to him a few hours earlier. So he could have at least called or emailed to say he was held up. We work in very very relaxed environments, so we have that luxury of contacting each other.

honestly..I wouldnt be mad. Maybe if it was a blizzard and I knew the roads were really dangerous and he wasnt answering, but Id let this one go.

actually, totally MY fault. I was so embarrassed. I completely forgot that he had a talk to go to from 4-5. I just completely spaced out. I had just talked to him right before that. The whole reason I was mad was that we were talking about going home, and then I had to go because my boss came in. So instead of leaving, I met with my boss- and DH went to the talk. But DH would have skipped the talk had I just told him I'd be a minute with my boss and then we could go. But as it was, I COMPLETELY forgot that he had the talk to go to today, so when I got off the phone with him, he went to it. And like 20 mins later when I was done with my meeting, I thought he was ready to go, and all of a sudden he couldn't be reached. OOPS.
