UGHH waking at 230 on the dot every night HELP
I really have no idea what the problem is. She is not wet or hungry just wants MOMMY! I want to do cio my dh says wait a few weeks until work is over because if she keep me up aall night while i have to go to work ill be miserable all day long from being so tired( i am a bad sleeper anyway, maybe she gets it from me). I am not exaggerating EVERY NIGHT its like clockwork 2:00-230 BOOM she is up. Besides CIo what can i do? This has been the last 4 or 5 nights

i try rubbign her back i try teh paci she goes back for 10 seconds and as i walk out her heard pops up. I am embarrassed to say after an hour of this i have to get up at 530 she ends up in bed with me. I want to do cio but dh is righti willbe amessif i have togoto work and dela with crazy 6th graders attheend of teh years with no sleep. what else can i do

If you want to do CIO, you have to committ to doing it. You may have a rough couple of nights, but you need to stick with it and it will work.

DS used to do this when he was cutting a tooth. Everynight at the same time he would pop up and want one of us in there with him, the second we left he was up again. Sometimes we would be in there for an hour, I refused to take him out of his room when he wakes up at night, I didn't want him thinking it was play time. So one of us would sit with him in the rocker or rub his back and eventually he would go back down. It stunk but it each tooth it was for about a week and then the tooth came through and he stopped. This is the way I knew he was cutting a tooth, he was fine during the day. It was just too weird though getting up at the same time everynight and not being cranky but just not wanting to be alone!
