Ughhh - Potential Swine Flu at DH's School
Dh is a teacher...they have two potential cases and they're awaiting results. It's all a little scarier when it hits closer to home...here's to hoping it misses this area and my son specifically

Same thing happened at my husbands school two weeks ago. They closed for a day and I don't believe the cases were ever confirmed!
Praying it's not Swine!

Re: Ughhh - Potential Swine Flu at DH's School
We had a confirmed case in my office 2 weeks ago and no one else got sick. I just made sure I was extra cautious around people who sounded sick and mindful about washing my hands. I also took off my "work" clothes as soon as I got home and put it in the hamper.

Honestly, we had one confirmed case at my school a few weeks ago and a few other suspected cases....we haven't closed and nothing bad has happened to anyone! Just make sure he washes his hands and sends kids to the nurse when they're sick!

They haven't said anything about closing...i guess they'll wait and see once the results come back.
We're definately taking all the right measures and basically everyone has been warned that if they feel the least but sick to report to the nurse. They're HS kids so I'm sure the nurse has been busy.
And to think, last week they had a chicken pox outbreak and I was nervous about that. Now swine flu. I think i'm going to quarantine him!
