uh... bug bite on my face?

I discovered just a few minutes ago a HUGE bump on my face, near my chin. It's not terribly itchy, but a little itchy. I thought at first it might be a pimple, but it's way too big and just doesn't look like one. It's an oval shaped lump - and rather noticeable.

Is it possible I got a bug bite on my face? If so, any chance it will go away by tomorrow? My bridal shower is tomorrow, and I was hoping not to have a giant red blotch on my face.

As gross as it sounds, you probably got bit in your sleep. I don't know if it will go away by tommorrow but if it's far enough from your mouth, put a dab of benadryl on it to help the itching and redness.

Thanks, I'll try that. I sort of figured as much. He couldn't bite any other body parts, huh?!

And thanks for the congratulations - I know it'll be a great day with or without the giant red bump! (I was just sorta pulling for without the red bump, though!)

I'm really not obsessing over it. I'm having my makeup done, so I'm sure if it's there it'll be pretty well hidden anyway. I just figured if I can get rid of the ugly bump, it's worth a shot!

Oh well. I have a permanent red mark under my left eye already. Maybe it was getting lonely.
