Uh oh is this the end of the crib?!
So first of all hello again. We made it down to Texas in one piece and are happily fixing up our new home. Since the movers haven't arrived yet we have no furniture and DH and I have been sleeping on an air mattress while DD has been sleeping in the pack n play. We have had no problems with either the pack n play or the crib until this morning. I heard her calling for me so I got up and went into her room to find the pack n play empty! I turned around and peered down to the first floor and there is DD blanket and teddy bear in hand asking where her DVD player is!  I thought DH took her out but when he denied it I had to see for myself and put her back in the pack n play and lo and behold she demonstrated how she got out. She's never done this in her crib but hey new house maybe new habits? Do you think it's time to put her in a bed. She already can be difficult to put to bed so I've been putting off getting a big girl bed as long as possible.

Hey there!!! So happy you guys made it there safe and well!!!
I hear ya on the bed! I have been avoiding it as much as possible! She hasnt climbed out just yet but I know she can. I am trying to hang on to the crib as long as possible but I fear the end is coming soon! No advice for you..just really happy to see you back online!!!

Hi! Congrats on the move! I would personally start off the new house with a new big girl bed, it will be a transition but you'll have to do it sometime, why not now...lol

Darn! Alright quick question how do you keep them in the bed? I have watched DD many a night on the video monitor run laps in her crib before she went to sleep.

I couldn't agree more. I would do the same.
As for how to keep them in the big girl bed....well, I don't think you can?  Maybe try putting her to bed a little later, when she is definately tired?
