uh oh, looks like my friend wants her pump back sooner than I thought!

She just emailed me and said her cousin is due any day and was asking about her pump. I'm still pumping every night and wasn't expecting that I'd be without a pump this soon! I really don't want to buy one for $300 because we will be weaning DD in 3 weeks. I still will need to pump I'm guessing since my supply will be adjusting. What should I do? It's not worth it to buy the really expensive one at this point. Is there a cheap single pump I can get or do you think I even need one? I guess it depends on when my friend really needs her pump back. Chat Icon

You can rent one on a month to month basis.

Some pharmacies that carry home-health supplies have them.

That's annoying that she lent it to you and is taking it back before you're done with it. Chat Icon her cousin goes late Chat Icon

We are currently renting one for $70 a month. I am pretty sure you can rent one on a weekly basis also.

If you are going to wean in 3 weeks just buy an Avent manual mump, I had it and Loooved it. used it for 7 months.(I never had an electric pump , bc I just couldn't stand pumping with it)
Its $50 or something and comes with 2bottles, case , ice packs and and everything else you need.
