Uh-Oh........ walking question
DS will be 9 months old on Saturday. He only started crawling about 3 weeks ago.... Soon after he is pulling himself up and standing alone. Even stood up in the middle of the floor without holding onto ANYTHING.... The babysitter told me that he took a step today... Isn't it too early for that???? I haven't even gotten used to him being mobile AT ALL yet...
How early was your DCs first step???

A lot of kids walk that early. My DS started taking steps at 13 months and was fully walking at 14 months.

DW was told that her and her brothers all started walking around 8 or 9 months. While maybe not common, it's definitely not unusual.

Not early at all. My son started crawling at 6 months and going up and down stairs at 6 months and was full on walking by 9 months.
