Uhh TMI shaving question

Does anyone shave it ALL during pregnancy?

I am almost 39 weeks and just had a little "mishap" with the razor in the shower. I am wondering if my Dr is going to think I am crazy on Tuesday....

They didn't shave me with my first. I don't think it's common actually. I wish they would have shaved me though.

Do they care if you haven't been great with shaving? It is better to go for a wax before the due date? Chat Icon

Re: Uhh TMI shaving question

i had it all planned with my first daughter, i wouuld go into labor, take a shower and "neaten" up then go to the hopsital...well, I had an amazing labor (5 hrs total!) but had no deisre to shower and "neaten" as I thought....overall, I don't think they care, they have prob seen it all so in my mnind, I chalked it up to "they have prob seen worse..." Gosh no! They could care less....I'm sure they've seen bald to bushy and think nothing of it at all. Remember some cultures don't believe in shaving or even "neatening up".

From my experience, I will make sure that everything is super trim prior to giving birth. It helps to keep things clean after the birth. Kind of gross but with all of the bleeding and such after delivery, you don't want to have a lot of hair at the "entryway". Neat and trim will make life easier.

I've never gotten waxed so I can't speak for getting that done.

This is the last thing I'm worried about! I do what I can, when I can. It will be what it will be when the baby is born.

I attempt every now and then. It takes too much energy from me! Chat Icon
