UltraSCREEN Questions (wrote ultrasound by accident)
Was this basically like getting a regular sonogram? By that I mean, did they let you DH in to see and did you get pictures? Also, how long did you have to wait for the results? Thanks!

Re: Ultrasound Questions
They let my husband in with every ultrasound after they did all their necessary measurements, etc.

Re: UltraSCREEN Questions (wrote ultrasound by accident)
Sorry, I had a pregnancy brain moment and wrote ultrasound when I meant ultraSCREEN.

Re: UltraSCREEN Questions (wrote ultrasound by accident)
I had my UltraScreen at NSUH and yes they allow people to come in with you. My Mom came with me for the UltraScreen. I didn't realize how detailed the sono was going to be otherwise I would have told DH to come. It's basically a very detailed ultrasound where they measure the folds of the neck, etc. and later they prick your finger and take blood. It's actually really amazing to see - it was much more detailed than the other ultrasounds I had. I just went back to NSUH for my level II (in the same dept.) and this time I brought my DH because it's such an amazing experience. I guess it depends where you get it done but I'm sure that most places will let your DH come in.
