Ultrasound

I need to go for an ultrasound to check into my irregular periods. My doctor told me to go "after my period," apparently to get a clearer picture. I was supposed to go today but had to cancel. My period ended on Monday. Do you think next Friday is too late? I have 40+ day cycles so I would not have ovulated by then.

I'd call the office but by the time they call me back I'll have had 3 more periods.

if you have to go after your period I think next friday is fine. Why not ask your Dr if he cares where you are in your cycle.

I have to do the same. My dr told me to go 5 days after my period started. I would think before ovulation is fine but I would check with dr to be sure. definitely don't go after ovulation though! My dr didn't take into account my cycle and the first ultrasound was inconclusive and I have to go again.
