Um.... Events Under Community
How do you post those? Do you have to be a member? There are a bunch of events posted for my mom's church and now I'm nervous that there might be lurkers. I thought I was safe on here!!!!
My mom is running/co-running some of these things! I'm scared!!!!
ETA: Extra question, lol.

They have to be approved by the site administrator, but I don't think you HAVE to be a member to post an event.
I'm not sure even what you are talking about since I didn't see any church events.
Either way, I'm not sure there's anything to be afraid of. The community events are just that - ways of posting things that are going on in the area so that if people are interested they may attend.

I'm not sure what the big deal is? I assume that phone number is not her home number and her home address isn't given, so why worry?

You don't have any of your personal information on here
This person may or may not be a member - or they may have just submitted the information
I would ask to have this thread deleted so that the person in question doesn't know you/your mom have access to this board.

My mom and dad came over for cake and I asked her if she advertised the kidfest and she said she didn't but Rose might have, so it wasn't my mom, it was her friend. I'm sure Rose isn't a member, she was probably just posting the event.
