Re: Umbrella Strollers-Poll
I hated my Chicco Umbrella. I ended up getting the Maclaren and I wish I bought it sooner. It is def worth the money

IMO if you have the money to spend, get the very best that you can. Get a Maclaren.

Re: Umbrella Strollers-Poll
Well I travel with mine and they get tossed around so much I didn't want to spend a ton of $. My sister still has her Chico after a lot of traveling and 2 brutal boys.
The other stroller in the $50-$60 price point didn't come close for me. Chico was the lightest & also has a slight recline. Also I like how it folds up so small it folds forward & squishes together not just forward so its flat but still wide.
A con is the useless shade.
The Maclarens are nice but $$$ for me.
Whatever you get make sure it's light & that it has a recline.

Re: Umbrella Strollers-Poll
Definitely Maclarens. Steering is wonderful they close easy and fold slim and last a loooooong time and stand up well to abuse. Oh and higher weight limits also so will last a long time.

Re: Umbrella Strollers-Poll
Don't have a recomendation but the one thing I wish I would have looked at was how much they recline...I have to lug my big stroller on vacation with us because my umbrella doesnt recline and my DS won't nap in there !

Re: Umbrella Strollers-Poll
I wanted in umbrella stroller that was sturdy and that I didn't have to pay as much as my other bigger stroller. Hence, I was not going to pay for a Maclaren I got a Chicco London and have had it nearly 4 years through 2 kids and it great. It's sturdy, holds up well, reclines, and has a basket, although its small (which is to be expected in an umbrella stroller). they don't make the London anymore, but the newer Chicco's are even better IMO.

Re: Umbrella Strollers-Poll
We have the chicco-don't love it but still have it. My girlfriends swear by Maclaren though-wish I got that one but with the 5 other strollers I purchased I felt I couldn't justify the cost anymore for an umbrella stroller-could have been a divorce-LOL

Re: Umbrella Strollers-Poll
I have a high end Combi and 3 kids later, it's still going strong. Like all umbrellas, it's not the stroller to use if you are going to be carry a lot of packages but I love it. Downside is that I had a problem with a part breaking back when it was fairly new and while it did ultimately get fixed by them, their customer service was awful.
