Ummmmmmm... i'm two payments behind on a car I traded in two months ago?!!! UPDATE 11am
I just got a call from chrysler financial that i'm two payments behind and my old '06 it's going to be repo'd. HELLO... I traded that in in September!!!!
Wasn't the dealership supposed to pay that off when I got my new car?
Is this going to affect my credit?
I'm on hold with the dealership I bought my new car from...

OMG, after you get off the phone with the dealership, you need to dispute any reports on your credit. Considering you have paperwork showing you transferred ownership, any marks on your credit should be erased.
GOOD LUCK!

Did the dealership agree to pay off your old vehicle?
This is exactly why I called Chrysler Financial the day I traded my car in to let them know the dealership would be paying off the balance and not to mark me late on any payments. The dealership often takes a while to send the payment in. If they agreed to pay it off, you should have paperwork you can submit to have CF reverse everything. I also gave CF the names of everyone I dealt with at the dealership in case they had any problems.

Well they had mailed me a check for what was owed and said i'd get a bill and to use that check to pay off the final bill. This is exactly what I did last time I traded in a lease and it worked out fine.
I haven't received the bill yet but didn't realize how long it had been. Ugh this stinks...
They are calling me back to let me know what to do.

Re: Ummmmmmm... i'm two payments behind on a car I traded in two months ago?!!!
UPDATE 11am: Just got a call back... the dealership spoke to chrysler financial and apparently chrysler financial never generated a final bill (they did get all the paperwork from the new dealership showing I traded it in) so it's totally their fault. The dealership is calling me back again to let me know when/where to send the final payment.
How do I get this taken off my credit report? Where do I call?

It may not even hit your credit report. Run a report first. Sometimes they never even report these things if it is only 2 months.

check your credit report or ask the billing dep't at chrysler if it w as reported. did you get a call from collections of from the regular billing dep't? Usually things are only reported once they are in collections. If it was reported, CF should take care of getting rid of it.

First, ask the lender whether or not it was reported to the Credit Bureau. If it was, tell the lender to remove it and send a letter to you with your final bill saying that your credit report will be fixed upon receipt of your payment.
