Unbelievable how people snipe at each other..
Holy Cr@p. I was looking for some photography website to get some ideas for a friend's pregnancy photos. I decided to logon to Urbanbaby.com - a site that had a pretty good messageboard ages ago when I was pregnant.
Here was one of the exchanges:
recommendations for a professional photographer to do pictures of me. 35 wks preg. would like tasteful and artistic. what would be cost?
Sorry, I've always found these strange. Where do you display them?

ITA. weird vanity project. why not just have DH snap some nudies and be done w/it?

i have an amazing pic. i also hated them but it was done very tasteful i wore my dh's white dress down. it was a profile shot with shirt unbottoned and i was holding my belly. everyone loves it.
Giggle, where is it displayed? it sounds horribly cheesy
actually its pretty all you see is a bit of my belly. and its in my room. its black and white and was done by a top fashion photog

agree with Jen..
.. but on the note.. my FSIL has her own picture everywhere in her house, including the guest bathroom (!).. I always thought it is odd and wouldn't do it myself...
however, if & when I am pregnant with my child, I would want to capture the moments as much as possible..
that poster is completely out of line

Thats hysterical..and sick. People still never cease to amze me. The thing I find funny is when original posters continue with a thread when its just turns ugly. To me that shows a real lack of a LIFE on everyones part. I think some people get so caught up they forget this is not real life, yes we have great freinds on here and Im sure other message boards are the same, but when you start fighting or being nasty to strangers you need a reality check ASAP. What gets me in this situation is this is MOTHERS ....Why arent they spending time with their children? And if they speak like that , treat people like that...scares me about the future of said children....
Best thing to do..laugh at it and be glad its not you thats bitter and evil...
