Uncle Giuseppe's Question
OMG! I went to Uncle Giuseppe's today after visiting Grandma at the hospital, for the first time!!! Can I just say I have never been so in love with a friggin supermarket? I spent a ton, but have dinners for 2 weeks, all made just heat and serve- so it actually wasn't expensive at all- I just bought a lot!
My question is how is their bakery? Their cakes looked AMAZING- but I've always been partial to Alpine so I just went there.

eh, the bakery isn't great in my experience. I've tried it twice (a long while ago) and both times it was disappointing. Stick w/ Alpine, imo.

I also agree. The bakery is very so so. Alpine is a better bet.

Sticking with Alpine is the best bet but their bakery isnt that bad IMO.
Did you try the gelatto? OMG - It is awesome.

The bakery isn't great for cakes and such but for things like connolies it's fine. I will NEVER go to Alpine because of too many bad, bad experieces. There is another bakery by the 7-11 in St. James (next to the pizza place) that is much better IMO.
