unemployment and freelancing
maybe this is a dumb question but does anyone know if you can collect unemployment and freelance at the same time? anyone ever done this before? or if my freelance job ends before a full time one kicks in, can i still collect unemployment for the time inbetween?

you can, but then your unemployment benefits will go down. Also, if you make over a certain amount, they will discontinue your benefits.
Basically, you cannot work while on unemployment.
Now if it's off the books...well then no one knows about it officially. KWIM?
