United Health Care - PPO Plus or Basic Plans
If you have this medical coverage - can you tell me your opinion - our company is switching and I am not liking what I am reading !

we have had choice plus for a number of years and for the most part I am very happy with it. The only downside that I see is that the brand name prescriptions can be expensive- my stupid prenatal vitamins are actually $40 a month 
but otherwise they have basically covered everything throughout my pregnancy well and I had some back issues and they covered all the MRIs that I needed with no issue too

did you have to meet a high dedcutable?
I see our pediatrician is not listed in the plan - urgh...I will have to call to double check.

I have UHC Choice Plus and it is amazing!!! I take very expensive medication ($3400 a month) and it is completely covered 100%. I also just had a baby and everything was covered. Never had a co-payment.

I have UHC PPO plan..im not sure if its plus or what, but i think its a 90/70 PPO. Im very happy with it. My maternity/delivery was covered with no issues, DS was covered with no issues; I do not need referrals for specialists as long as I go in network Im covered, and up to whatever %age out of network.
I previously had Aetna HMO and they sucked when it came to specialists.
