Upcoming CSE Help
My 3-year old son is PDD/NOS and receives ABA therapy 5x per week, twice a day. He was approved for full-day pre-school, but one of his teachers wants me to try and get some home based ABA on top of the pre-school hours (for self-help skills like dressing, toileting, etc). She said it is hard to get though.
Any suggestions for persuading them would be greatly appreciated. This is only my second meeting with the District so I am not familiar with the process really.
Thank you!

Re: Upcoming CSE Help
If it were me I would say that I was having a huge problem getting DC ready in the morning for school... He can't help with dressing, can't get him to use the potty, and its affecting your ability to get him to school in the morning.
Maybe he's having a lot of tantrums and you need some help at home to work on that.
Good Luck!

Re: Upcoming CSE Help
I am an ABA Teacher. I would talk about training you need at home. I would also discuss any concerns that you have for care over at home (i.e. he gets colors at school but does not generalize them at home). If you have any concerns over behaviors or routines at home. If you have any further questios feel free to FM me.
