UPDATE - OMG, He's HOME!!!!! Thank you all!! Cross post to pets: My cat is lost
One of my neighbors called me at like 9pm to say his wife was driving & saw him in the road like a half mile away. I drove over there and parked and walked down the block calling him and he came running to me!!! It was like a scene from Lassie  He won't let me out of his sight & he won't stop purring, the feeling is mutual!!
THANK YOU ALL so much for caring & your kindness - it meant the world to me. There ARE still people willing to go out of their way for others. I am ever grateful

I actually thought of you and posted this here even, from what happened with that accident the other day & you put the 2 people together, just made me think you never know who might see this and see him, because if you saw him, you wouldn't forget him, he's so big & distinctive looking.

I once had a cat that was missing for 3 weeks. She came back so skinny and dirty. She mus have been trapped some where but she did make it home!!
