Update - online used clothing store Thred Up
Ok so i just received the items i ordered and i cannot get over how nice they are. They dont look used at all And they looked like they were cleaned and pressed before shipping. Im definately impressed. I couldnt have bought these cheaper new - even with clearance and coupons.
$4.99 for bathrobe
$3.99 for swimshirt
$3.99 for hat & mittens (very thick not flimsy)
They also buy clothes and give you free bags to ship it and free shipping. They are defiantely strict with what they accept though so check their site first.
I know others have thought they were pricey - and they are on some items but there are definately some good deals on there - and when you sign up they give you free $10 credit.

Glad you had a good experience. A friend of mine from college started this company (although I've never actually used it myself) so it's nice to hear good things!

I haven't bought stuff from there yet but I have sent things in and they have bought them. I was happy with the prices, and saves me the time of having a garage sale.

I ordered 4 items a few months back and two had huge(over 3 inches each) holes. I don't get how these two not tiny holes were missed. They had great customer service and refunded the money after I sent photos. But I will still skip ordering from them again to avoid the hassle.

Wow interesting. I think the prices are high. I have a number of the ralph lauren dresses they want $17 for them and they had been worn (not with tags). Those identical dresses I bought brand new 2 years or so for $6-12 at L&T. Also several things I got for less at gymboree, hartstrings etc. I think it is expensive for consignment when you can but identical items new on sale at the store.

Maybe it is the girls vs boy stuff but even the childrens place items were more than I spent in the store brand new (although I admit they were on sale). I guess I just think used (even good condition) should be less than the cost on sale in the store. I didn't look at the boys items so I cannot comment.

Yeah i was only looking at the boys stuff so maybe there is a big price difference between boy and girl

I agree with the PP--old navy and children's place have sales where the new clearance items would cost less than you spent, but there is something to be said for convenience, and you get it all at once without having to shop around for sales.

Well i certainly wouldnt stop shopping at the clearance section at stores to find good deals - but you dont always find everything you need so i think this store is great to fill in what you need. Its just another great place to get deals. And like you said its convenience - i went to about 20 stores looking for a bathrobe and didnt find one but thred up had a few.
