Thanks for all of the prayers and hugs girls!! Typically, amnio results take 2 weeks to come back. But the doctor took an extra vial of fluid to send for a FISH test [Fluorescent In Situ Hybridization] which is a preliminary result that comes back in about 3 days. More info here. I was told that I may get my results on Sat. but most likely Mon. The FISH results are just for a couple of chromosomal analyses. The full report that comes later has all of the chromosomes analyzed.
