Did you call all the ones who didnt RSVP? Ive had the same situations with my son and I call them and half say oh yeah were coming.  What about cousins or neighbors or something?

We didn't cancel the party and we ended up having 14 kids!!!   My son and the other kids had a blast and as exhausting as it was, it was worth it! Thanks everyone! 
And the parents seemed to enjoy themselves as well. They were laughing, etc.

And the best part about being a kid, is that he'll have no idea all the stress and aggravation involved in coordinating the party....
