Update 3:30p--Please pray for this mommy and her little babies
My heart is just breaking over this right now.
My SIL's friend "K" has struggled with infertility and multiple miscarriages. She finally became PG with twins and her due date was set for January but they originally planned to take the babies in December. She has been on bed-rest for most of her PG.
My DH just s/w his mother. K is in the hospital, on a ventilator. She was allergic to the placenta and it was killing her. They took the babies 8 weeks early.
So please pray for this mommy and her little twin boys.
Update 11/21/07 3:30p
OK. I just spoke with my MIL. First- men should be banned from delivering messages. She WAS NOT in a coma, but she was on complete life support and did almost die. (She was hooked up to everything but a feeding tub.) So I got a little bit of mis-information from my DH. I amended the original post to correct the parts that were wrong.
Anyway, my MIL said that she is off of the ventilator and that they did a complete hystorectomy on her so that absolutely none of the placenta was left. So far is sounds like she will be OK.
I don't have any news about the babies yet. I hope all is well

I will. I just s/w my MIL. They're in Good Sam. She said that she s/w the father's brother, she didn't want to ask him any questions because it's just so upsetting KWIM. (She knows the whole family. My BIL is friends with the 2 brothers since growing up.)
We were just both so over this.
